By buying Batman party supplies online you are able to save on expense, improve accessibility and choose from more variation.

When you purchase Batman party supplies in a store, you as the buyer, are paying the shipping costs for a bulk order. Many folks don't understand the higher prices they see in-store reflect the bulk shipping rates the store pays, plus some.

When you buy them online, you can order the precise number of items you need. Many times you'll find sites with Batman party supplies which offer free or reduced shipping, saving you even extra money.

Accessibility and variety are also factors when you buy your Batman party supplies on the web. You can flick thru a variety of styles, patterns and sizes, with no need to leave the comfort of your house.

After finding what you need, you can have all items brought to your front door with no need to wait in a line behind other clients or deal with a rude assistant. Overall, shopping on the net for your Batman party supplies is a brilliant way to save time, money and stress.

Many gadgets lie in the gadget belt or utility belt of this superhero and all Batman has to do is to dig in it and use them when as he needs them.

Other Batman gadgets are the Batrope which Batman uses to climb skyscrapers and also the Batarang which is actually a boomerang used to disable the villains.

Unlike Superman and most other costumed heroes, Batman is a human being who does not possess any superhuman abilities.

However, he has elevated himself to near-superhuman status through years of rigorous training. Batman's all about fighting crime, but his true passion is helping kids grow up with the right set of morals.

For decades, Batman has been one of America’s favorite super heroes. As the Batman merchandise list and movie industry continue to grow, fans become more and more interested in Batman toys, Batman collectibles and Batman gifts. Fans love to spend money on Batman toys, Batman collectibles and Batman gifts to show their support for their favorite super hero. While many of these fans are young children who don’t realize the worth of their purchases, adult fans often hone in on the possibility their Batman toys and Batman collectibles could be worth quite a bit one day.

Like many other collectibles, Batman toys, Batman collectibles and Batman gifts are usually worth more if they are aged and in perfect condition. The older the item is, the more it’s likely worth on the collectible market. Items like Batman cups, Batman toys, Batman coins and Batman playing cards are often highly sought after items. In addition, like other collectibles if there were only a small amount of the Batman collectible made, the worth increases. For instance, a rare vintage Batman lunch box would be worth more than a modern Batman lunch box found at any local store.

While not all Batman toys, Batman collectibles or Batman gifts will rise in worth over time, there is a good chance something you own will certainly do so. When shopping for vintage items, be sure to look for things in great condition or in unopened containers. But, ultimately keep in mind the items you buy are likely going to be worth more to you (possibly sentimentally) than most other collectors.

Most often, costumes can only be found during Halloween season. However, super hero costumes like Batman costumes can usually be found year-round in local toy stores. While you may have great difficulty finding authentic adult Batman costumes or a Batman latex costume during the non-Halloween season, you may be able to locate these authentic costumes online or at a local costume rental store.

Of course, if you need a batman costume in a pinch and your little one is convinced they need to fly around the living room fighting the villains of Gotham City, “Batman style”, immediately, you can throw together a homemade version using a sheet. But, if your tot loves Batman it can be much less stressful to pick up a Batman cape and store it for these “flying” sessions.

When searching for a Batman costume online, you’ll likely find a variety of different choices. Some Batman costumes contain the entire Batman suit, Batman mask, Batman cape and Batman accessories and weapons. However, others are smaller Batman costume kits which only contain the cape and mask. Depending on how much you’re willing to spend on your Batman costume, there should be a suitable option for you and your child.

If you’re hitting the local costume store or toy store to search for a Batman costume, you’ll likely find one in the super hero action figure aisles. Today’s toy makers are well aware of the urge boys have to dress up like their favorite super heroes and are beginning to make costume sets for this exact purpose.

While you may understand why a six year old little boy has an intense fascination for Batman T-shirts and other Batman clothing, you may furrow your brow a bit when you realize your husband feels the same way. While your child likely loves the idea of dressing like his favorite super hero and pretending to fight off evil Batman villains, saving you and his family from certain death, your husband’s fascination is likely a bit different.

Children love many different Batman T-Shirts, Batman costumes and other Batman clothing because they can use it to get into character and “fly away” to fantasy land where pretend play is quite healthy for kids their age. However, your husband’s Batman T-shirt faze is likely due to the fact he likes everything Batman represents. Sure, he may be backtracking a bit to his childhood where Batman could fix any situation but chances are he just thinks the guy is cool. It may also be something he shares with his son, which can make it fun to buy them matching Batman T-shirts and other Batman clothing. With Batman possessing good qualities your son can take away from his fascination, it’s never a bad thing to encourage a love of Batman.

Batman T-shirts and other Batman clothing can usually be found year-round however it does come out in excess when a new Batman movie is released. When a new movie hits the theatres, parents can find new Batman toys, Batman T-shirts and other Batman clothing almost anywhere.

While Batman fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation of The Dark Knight sequel (Batman 3), there is little confirmed upcoming Batman movie news. Insiders believe the project is delayed due to the schedule of director Chris Nolan who has been busy working on other commitments and projects. However, stars like Gary Oldman and Michael Caine are feeding into the rumor mills with comments stating they estimate shooting on Batman 3 is expected to begin in 2010 with the movie being released in 2012.

In addition, Michael Caine recently said he expects the next Batman installment to focus on The Riddler. If this is true, it will be interesting to see who is chosen to play this intricate role. While Jim Carrey did a fabulous job in Batman Forever, Nolan’s style of direction is much more realistic and Carrey’s portrayal of the villain may not fit into his style and creative direction. Christian Bale is contracted to continue his role as Batman while other rumors are swirling about the possibility of Johnny Depp playing the role of The Riddler and Megan Fox playing the role of Catwoman (although most recently this one has been denied).

Upcoming Batman Movie News To Look Out For

All in all, Batman fans will have to wait until at least January to hear whether Chris Nolan is signing on with Warner Brothers for the Batman 3 movie and when production will begin. However, at the earliest the Batman 3 movie won’t be released until at least 2012 so fans are forced to sit patiently and wait it out.

Comic shelves have been littered as of late with Bat related heroes, heroines, and spinoffs. Written by Brian Q. Miller, who is also known for Smallville, the #1 issue has some good things going for it, especially the artwork which is top notch thanks to Lee Garbett.

The writing is also well crafted, the character of Batgirl herself well written, though the plot and storyline may make any avid comic book reader yawn. There is nothing new or overly exciting being told in this issue.

Batgirl must hide her identity from her parents not because she risks them discovering her alter ego, but because she had promised them she would quit her career as a vigilante and has not been able to follow through with said promise. Sadly the character development of both Batgirl and Barbara Gordon, another heroin in the series, lacks polish and logic.

It is a stretch at best to see the leaps both characters have taken in attitude and motivation in their actions, making the series seem disjointed and choppy, as though the author didn’t take much care in making the story make sense.

The series is starting off rocky, but the footing is stable enough that it will delight and entertain those who don’t care to judge harshly.

Batgirl first appeared in Batman #139 in 1961, over 20 years after the first appearance of Batman in Detective comics. The original Batgirl was Betty Kane, but she only lasted a few years and was replaced in 1964 by Barbara Gordon in Detective Comics #359. Barbara Gordon is the daughter of Commission Gordon, a long time ally in Batman’s fight against crime.

Interestingly, the character that eventually lead to Batgirl, first appeared in the mid 1950’s as a reaction to Fredric Wertham’s Seduction of the Innocent book that created a large “comic book panic” and accused Batman of being homosexual.

Batgirl (Kathy Kane) was brought in to be Batman’s love interest. A few years later, the original Batgirl (Betty Kane) was brought in as Batgirl’s niece and a love interest for robin.

The Barbara Gordon Batgirl became very popular, as did all things Batman, due to the Batman television series of the mid sixties. Batgirl was brought into the television series to help attract a female audience.

This popularity waned after the show was canceled, but the new Barbara Gordon batgirl continued to make sporadic appearances in the Batman line of comics from 1966 to 1988. The Batgirl character was changed from a teenager to an adult in the comic after the television show ended, but otherwise remained the same.

Batgirl “retired” in 1988 after being shot and paralyzed by Batman’s nemesis, the Joker. She reappeared soon after as the Oracle a computer wizard who helped various costumed crime fighters with her information gathering and computer hacking abilities.

A series of short term Batgirls appeared in the following years, but none long enough to hold the title.

What the Joker, Penguin, Riddler, or any of Batman's foes have not been able to do, Batman's own "dad" was.

In a controversial new storyline by Grant Morrison, Batman is killed by Simon Hurt who claims is Batman's dad. While everyone, who does not live under a rock, knows.

Batman's dad was supposedly killed when Bruce Wayne was but a child. But in this new story line, Simon Hurt claims that he simply faked his own death.

This of course opens up the storyline to a whole new level. The success of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight is definitely worth noting here because after the passing of Heath Ledger there has been plenty of discussion on whether any new foe would ever match the performance of Ledger.

With this new twist in the comic there is definitely a opening for the Batman movie franchise to do the same.

But don't worry Batman aficionados, while Bruce Wayne has passed away, Batman is promised to continue fighting.

While we have all been kept in the dark, no pun intended, there are rumors floating around that the next Batman will be either Dick Grayson, the original Robin, or current boy Wonder Tim Drake.
