A Short History of Batgirl

Batgirl first appeared in Batman #139 in 1961, over 20 years after the first appearance of Batman in Detective comics. The original Batgirl was Betty Kane, but she only lasted a few years and was replaced in 1964 by Barbara Gordon in Detective Comics #359. Barbara Gordon is the daughter of Commission Gordon, a long time ally in Batman’s fight against crime.

Interestingly, the character that eventually lead to Batgirl, first appeared in the mid 1950’s as a reaction to Fredric Wertham’s Seduction of the Innocent book that created a large “comic book panic” and accused Batman of being homosexual.

Bruce Waynes acted as batman in which his tricks to fly in the air never could move away from the little hearts of his tiny supporters.

He acted mainly in many of children movies. In Catwoman his acting is simply superb.Again in batgirl he gave his full length skill inviting praise from his fans.

Who can forget his comedy in the joker where all his fans though under sixteens made the movie a glory one.

In the dark night his innocent actions proverd as a turning point in his carrier. The costumes used for his movies are brilliant in the make.

Film is fourth to top amount in global box office

“The Dark Knight” has become the fourth film to take in more than $1 billion in worldwide box office.

Warner Bros. made the announcement Friday afternoon, saying that the combined domestic and international gross had totaled $1,001,082,160 to date — about $533 million domestically and $567 million overseas.

“Knight” had been about $4 million short of the 10-figure mark when Warner Bros. re-released it into Imax screens on Jan. 23, the day after its eight Oscar nominations were announced. Grosses from Ecuador also helped nudge the Batpic over the mark, a spokeswoman said.
