Dark Knight Breaks Movie Box Office Records
This past sweltering July weekend "Batman - The Dark Knight" opened in theaters nationwide.
As of Sunday evening the news was that "The Dark Knight" had the biggest opening weekend ever for any movie, beating "Spiderman".
While there has been much speculation that this is because of the untimely death of Heath Ledger.
The movie stands on it's own rather nicely, however.
Heath Ledger does shine, but this movie offers so much more action than the previous Batman Begins, which is much more story driven.
Batman offers action and so much more to movie goers. Batman is a timeless superhero with a moral center unequaled among superheroes.
Long live Batman and all his friends. May his enemies always fear him!
